Race for Life 2012

For those who know me know that I love my running. It gives me a sense of power and freedom and whenever I feel stressed, a good run always helps me relax!

So it makes perfect sense that I took part in the recently Southend Race for Life as it's for a good cause and I get to do what I love to.

I finished the 5K(3 Miles) in 23 minutes which is my best time so far compared to last year which was 25.

I just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to those who sponsored me as it means a lot to me and my other Half.

Gary's Dad is sadly not with us due to Cancer and will be missed heavily on our wedding day in a couple of months time, so if you love running and could do the 3 miles(you can walk it too), it's well worth you taking part and raising some money. You never know, the money from your donations could save someones life and enable them to be there on their Children's wedding day.

Outfit Post - Floral and Satchel

Special outfit post today as I have a few brands that are well worth a mention.

I recently came across a very cute website called Ginger Pickle and loved their lay out and look. I ordered the Bonbi Forest Moon locket as I may wear it for my wedding and the Enamel collar brooch tips by Finest Imaginary. The locket is really solid which is ideal and I love the little shell moon which really adds a special touch to the necklace.

The Cambridge Satchel company are another gem that are well worth an investment. With a classic satchel style that is available in many attractive colours, it's no wonder I couldn't wait to receive my green 'Bunnipunch' bag. The quality of the bag is very good and it's perfect to use everyday.

Lastly, Emu Australia. Many relate the brand to Sheep skin boots that the Aussie's wear after surfing and what we wear in the Snow but the brand do some other great styles too.

These cream buckle wedges are just one of them. With a small wedge that gives you some height and a loose fit so you can layer with socks, the Lyndon are perfect to show off your legs and prove Emu know good shoes.
